How to Order

Adding Products to Shopping Cart
From the main page select Purchase a Plan. Enter a quantity next to the items you wish to purchase,and then select “Add to Shopping Cart”. Select Continue Shopping to add more items to the cart or select Go to Shopping Cart. At the shopping cart page, the items and quantities you have chosen, their purchase price and the total dollar amount of all items for purchase will be listed. You can also return to the shopping cart at any time by selecting the cart icon in the upper right of the website.

Continue to Checkout
After you've reviewed the items in the Shopping Cart, if you are not already logged in, select My Account to login or create a login. Creating an account is required for purchase. If you are an Intel Technology Provider member, you can login with your ITP account. After logging in, you will be prompted to confirm the billing address to be used for purchase.

Payment
Currently, this Intel web site only accepts payment via PayPal. We do not accept cash, checks, money orders or purchase orders. After confirming your billing address, select the PayPal payment option and select Continue. You will be taken to the PayPal payment screen. You can then login with your PayPal account, or enter credit card information without logging into PayPal. After completing the PayPal payment, you will be taken to a confirmation page. Confirm your purchase and the order will be completed.

Confirmation and Order Receipt
After completing the purchase, you will see an order confirmation page with your order number. This information is also emailed to the email address on your account. You can also view your order history at any time by logging into the PTPP site and selecting My Account, then Transaction History.

Ordering Issues
If you encounter problems with the ordering process, contact Click support at click.support@intel.com with Performance Tuning Protection Plan in the subject.

Replacing a Processor
Your Performance Tuning Protection Plan is effective 30 days after the Plan purchase date. The Plan will cover the processor running out of specifications for the remainder of the standard 3 year warranty.

If you need to submit a claim for processor replacement under the Plan, contact Intel Customer Support prior to shipping the processor.

When you contact Intel, be prepared to provide the Plan Activation Code that was sent with your order confirmation. We will give you a return material authorization (RMA) number and instructions.

RMA numbers are required on all returns. Please note that we cannot accept any returns without an RMA number and that RMA numbers are only valid for 30 days from the date of issue.

Refund Policy
Refunds can be given up to 45 days from the date of purchase, provided the activation code has not been used. To request a refund send the following information to click.support@intel.com:

Subject: : Performance Tuning Protection Plan

  • Order Number
  • Activation Code
  • PayPal Account Email Address used in the purchase
 

Click support will email you back with an acknowledgement email. Refunds take up to 6 weeks to process. You will receive a confirmation email once the refund is processed. The refund will be processed back to your PayPal™ account.
